START YOUR ENGINES - Need your help! FAST!
I am finally figuring out how to get around in this site.
However ..........right to the subject
I posted a previous post under the topic of HELP.
It is in the General Chat section. I should of put it in this Mechanical & Maintenance section.
If you read my previous post - you'll be able to catch up on this one and hopefully relate to what is going on BECAUSE...I went out to the garage where my 95 Bonny SE (NA) has been setting for about 2 weeks now. DEAD Haven't had the time to get to it. Besides - I'm still trying to think of what in the world is wrong with it. Otherwise, I would have to type the whole thing over again, :(
Anyways, I turned the engine over and it started .
It only ran for about 3-4 seconds, but it started. Wow!
Another Clue! But now it won't start anymore. So what could be going on? Mm.............a mystery. Any sluthes out there. Maybe a Sherlock Holmes.
I will try to copy and past my previous messege from General Chat to here. That way they will be under the same category.
If anyone has any '* please get back to me. But you have to read the "HELP" post in order to understand this one - and evaluate why my car would start and run for a few seconds.
Regards,
John

john,
had a wierd similar problem with my '94 jimmy...it was the fuel pump. something in the pump was actually related to the ambient temp...if the truck was warm (or the air for that matter) then it wouldn't start...but once it completely cooled (or the outside temp got down to around the low 70'*) it would start. i think that the metal was expanding/contracting. when we replaced the fuel pump...no more problem. may not be what you have but it'* worth a look.
