Default Wheel Well Rust Is It Safe.

I had posted about my wheel well rust and I rivited some sheet alluminum, siliconed, and covered everything with coat of undercoating. There was one big hole at the top of the inner fender, but the rust went half way down the wheel well on the cab side so it was quite extensive. Could not get at it from inside the trunk to weld any thing, the strut pillar is in the way. My other questions is do any of you think the integrity of the car is comprimised because of this rust? I would hate to be in an accident and have it open up like a soup can, my kids ride back there.

I'd doubt you have any structural issues from that spot. If it were the base of the strut tower and a bit more, then yes. But in that particular section, I'd say it'* about the best place for it to happen.
