Drifter420/Murdock Wong. His car went for a dip a couple years back. He didn't hydrolock. He anticipated the 'threat', and planned for it.

you guys remember me..

yes.. I was the first amphibious bonneville

I thought bout using GM or sea foam top engine cleaner.. but after some reading.. I think it is too harsh IMO. It took years to build up all that gunk and I don't think a majic can in an afternoon will clean it up that quick without possible side affects.. ( i.e. foul plugs and possibly O2 sensor )

So I'm going to steam clean my car by using a spray ( mist type ) bottle thru the intake with the car running.. it will take longer and possibly a few sessions before it gets clean.. but at least it'* not that harsh..

Bill.. do you think it will clean the whole entire intake track? ( like seafoam or GM top engine cleaner? ) Or just the combustion chamber?

Murdock, it'll take a few apps, but it should clean EVERYTHING, with the least amount of cleaning probably on your exhaust valves, but it will clean them somewhat. Misting will clean the inside of the SC, LIM, and intake valves at the very least, with a little reduced cleaning (slightly reduced) in the cylinder, and slightly less in the exhaust.
