My parents haven't changed the oil on their 96 SE since I did last May So I took the poor thing in today, and the guys couldn't even do it because the plug thingy was on so tight they couldn't get it off. Do I hold the place I got it changed at last responsible? And how do I fix it?

I've never heard of a drain plug that was on so tight that it couldn't be taken off. Especially with the wide assortment of tools available for its removal.

I know, I kinda had a sneaking suspicion that they were just being lazy, because they were kinda busy. So do you think I should just take it somewhere else and see if they can get it off?

She may not have the ramps or a wrench Haro. But yeah, changing oil on these cars is extremely easy; even girls can do it. I would definitely advise taking the car to a different shop that is more competent yes.

That would be really cool if she did Pat. We'll have to wait and see what she says.

I use a giant piece of cardboard on the floor and scoot the drain pan out very slowly.
