ok guys this is my first thread i dont know if im in the right forum or not but here is the problem my 1994 bonnie sc series 1122543 mi on her and she doesent have an overdrive at all nor will she downshift when i floor the throttle but when it heats up almost to the point of overheating overdrive works and downshifts erraticly but has power what could this b i think it has a rebuilt tranny when i bought itim worried

Have you checked your fluid level? A possibility is a problem with the temperature sensor in the transmission. The trans wont shift in to 4th or lock the torque converter unless the temp is up to 70* or higher. But let'* wait for SPG358 to chime in. He'* our transmission expert.
