Weak cruise
I took my 92 for a test run after putting in new plugs, and my cruise didn't work. So I stopped, popped the hood, and reattached the vacuum hose that I correctly figured I knocked off. Bingo, but it slowly looses speed uphill and won't make itself go into boost, which it normally hits 9 psi (with full TC lockup, mind you
) up a few hills on my normal route home. Sounds like a vacuum leak, right? I firmly reattached the vacuum line. What'* the deal?
If it comes back, get a tube of Dow Corning high vacuum grease for those fittings. Great stuff. I use it at work all the time for high-vacuum applications. It'll help keep them from drying out, too, and may rejuvenate them.
