Has anyone else had water in the reverse lamps in the tail light assembly. It shorted out one of the lights. I have removed the assembly and blown the water out. There are no cracks in the lens. There is still some condensation in there, and I am thinking since i have not found the cause for this to happen, the problem will be back.

I have water in the center section that'* on my trunk. I also don't know how to correct the problem.

Small separations between the lens cover and the light back can draw water in like a vacuum when it goes from hot to cold. Remove the light assembly and dry it out the best you can with a hair dryer. Let it sit over night indoors. Use clear silicone sealant and run a bead on the seam between the front and back lens piece.

If you did not get all the moisture out during the dying process, you may still notice some moisture build up on the inside lens. You will more than likely need to remove and dry it out again.

I'm the one who broke the seal on the center piece. It happened when I was trying to remove it to clear it. I still can't figure out how to get the damn thing off.

just warm them up a bit in the oven and patiently pry them apart, you may have to put them back in the oven a couple of times but its really simple to do with a couple of butter knives. The key to this mod/ fix is patience and finesse!

Also check the O-ring/gasket on the bulb and socket that could be damaged
