Can the water pump on a '95 NA engine be removed/replaced without removing/disconnecting the motor mount that attaches to the frame side rail? Thanks.

I'm not as familiar with Series II, but I think you need to remove the motor mount.

Thanks for the replies. Jr'*, thanks for the tip about moving the power steering pump out of the way.

Replaced the water pump today. No big deal as jr's3800 said. He was right about the bolts having 10mm and 13mm heads. The last bolt in the water pump that needs to have the power steering pump moved to be taken out is a 13mm however, not 10mm. I'm certainly not going to fault him on that though, he was right on everything else, probably working from memory.

For everyone else'* info, the 2 bolts holding the power steering pump on can be accessed through holes in the power steering pump pulley. The bolts are in about the 12 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions. Just undo those 2 bolts, no need to take them out of the pump body, move the pump out of the way just enough to remove that one bolt in the water pump, and the water pump can be removed once all the bolts are out.

Yep, on the supercharged '92/'93 you'll need to support the engine and remove the engine mount. You'll also need to move the power steering pump out of the way and remove the large accessory bracket attached to the supercharger. Plan on spending several hours...

And support the engine from the bottom? That'* similar to the process in order to change the belt on a Series II.

Series II belt change should take less than 15 min, just drop the sleeve. in the axis mount.

That is unless the bolts are all rusted to sh**, and you need a torch to loosen things up
