If there'* any gappage there, you'll get water leaks (and wind noise). You can push the weatherstrip back in, but unless you fill the gap between the ends at the bottom, it will just come loose again.

As stated in another thread as well: to fix the gap, push the seal tight to the frame, get a piece of the seal from the junkyard, cut to fit the gap that appeared at the bottom, fit in place, and its good to go.
