I recently put in the wrong transmission in my ssei it put in the trans from the sse so the other night smoke started coming out from my dashboard and it smelled horrible what was that was the my computer or what?

i found out it was my electronic level control fuse had melted but why????

The trans can't 'smoke' anything. You have multiple problems.

You might want to consider a different labelling method for the subjects of your threads.

Wassup didn't get me looking at your thread quickly. I figured you were intro'ing yourself in the wrong forum.

Smoke from Dash, later updated with melted fuse would be better. As well... try to describe your problems in more detail.In this case

I was driving along (describe any symptoms), car seemed normal and then smoke was pouring out from the dash. I think it came from the XXXXXXX (driver/passenger/top/bottom) part of the dash. I'm going to look at it..wondering if anyone knows what electrical stuff is in that area.
