So this 96 SSEi we have, seam to have mind of its own with huge mood swings. It began happening again, ill drive somewhere and then it wont start, and SECURITY blinks. Then u let it sit a little and itll start? WTF!!!!? lol The VATS is bypassed on it already, w/resistor pack soldered, so what can it be? Battery wires cleaned. Any suggestions? please help as this is not very reliable way of driving when u dont know if u should shut the car, or keep it running cause it wont start. lol
those modules go bad too, the resitors just take the key out of the question. there are ways to completely remove vats.

Thank you guys, ill look into it more today, see if i can j/cut the module out completely. as far as Neutral goes, last time checked, it did ran Dan, but thank you again.
Blinking light sounds correct. I doubt the resistors went bad, sure they can...but let'* get some info on what the car is doing when it doesn't start before we shotgun stuff that may be fine.
Does the engine crank over?
Does the engine have fuel pressure?
Does it start then stall back out?
Does adding throttle help it start or sputter?
Do you hear the fuel pump prime?
