First of all, I will say that I may have jumped the gun asking about the fuel pump, since I am not sure this is your issue. This really shouldn't be related to your having to an issue with the battery and needing a jump, but I wanted to confirm that your "no start" was not fuel related.
It can be a very soft humming sound. The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank, so the hum may be faint, and it opnly lasts a couple of seconds before it stops without starting the car.
If there is no humming, at all, then the fuel pump may have failed or the fuel pump fuse may be out.
Since you get no turning over, and just "clicks", I am thinking it may be the starter. Usually if it is fuel related, the motor should at least turn over and crank, but not fire up.

Well thanks for all the info I will be installing a new starter tonight and will let you all know what the final outcome is.
Thanks again for all the quick responses and I'll be back later.

Good luck to you...and hopefully that is your issue. We really try to not to direct you to start buying a bunch of parts in the "hopes" of fixing it. I was hoping some more folks would jump in here to try to diagnose before you had to buy anything. Sorry we couldn't be more of an immediate help, to assist you in nailing this down.

But it is true, that if its not even cranking, then it is a slim chance that it is the fuel pump.
Well just so everyone knows my car WORKS!

Tiff, in the future, keep in mind we have a TON of members in MN, and they've done emergency repairs for members in the past. Take the time to check out www.mnbonnevilleclub.com when you get a chance. They're a regional sister-site to us.
