Chilton'* says 89 inch-lbs for the upper manifold-to-lower manifold retaining bolts, and 11 ft-lbs for the lower manifold-to-block bolts. I'm assuming that'* what the techinfo'* referring to, but when in doubt, don't swear by Chilton'*

is the dorman unit cheaper than the GM one? Just wondering b/c its probably going to be the only time you will have to change the intake for the life of the car. The one in ours lasted 138k miles before it quit. Did you notice any difference in the car after you cleaned out the TB? How easy was it to remove/clean it?

I'm not sure what the GM intake cost. I didn't really notice any difference in driveability after the install. The throttle might feel a little smoother now after it was cleaned.
