Default Update-finding power steering pump for '92-'95 SSEi?

If any of you have been able to buy a rebuilt power steering pump for your '92-'95 SSEi, can you tell me the correct part number and where you got it? The pump has an electrical connector on the bottom (for something called "EVO"? for variable electronic steering) and I've been trying to find one for more than a week. I've contacted several dealers and all of the big chain parts stores, and I've been given over a dozen part numbers, and I've ordered several of them, and each and every one was the wrong part! I spoke with a dealer'* service manager and several dealer mechanics, with my old pump in hand, and none of them had any answers to help me get a replacement.

All dealers gave me the same part number for the new pump - 26045642, and when I tried to order it from the dealer, they said it'* been discontinued. I ordered the new one online, but the next day they said the part wasn't available. I then ordered the rebuilt version from the dealer (they saw mine so they knew what it should have looked like) but when it arrived, it turned out to be the wrong version also.

I then ordered one from another parts vendor, and that was wrong. They then ordered a 2nd and that was wrong, then a 3rd, and that was wrong, and they said there are no other versions listed.

I'll update this post when the dust settles. It'* been a truly miserable experience, and I hope that none of you ever have to go through this.

Update: I finally got the right version of the pump; it was #20-42832. It already had the reservoir attached, and the shop swapped the pulley and electronic assembly for me.

Does anyone know what'll happen if I were to install the standard pump version that doesn't have the electronic "EVO" control and just leave the electrical connector unplugged?

Default

Supercharged, 92-95 26045642
Supercharged, 96-99 26043363

Non-supercharged with Elect control 92-94 26045643
Non-supercharged with Elect control 95 26046792

Non-supercharged without elect control 92-94 26031483
Non-supercharged without elect control 95-99 26043363

Based on the above information, it would appear that the supercharged applications from 96-99 don't have electronic control, as it'* the same part number as the 95-99 non-supercharged without.....and does 96-99 have the reservior attached to the pump?

92-95 Supercharged do not. The reservior, as you stated is on the other side. FYI, the reservior kit differes between supercharged and non-supercharged also. Supercharged 92-95 is 26025960, and non-supercharged is 26023797

(all the above information is based on my 'magic book')

According to www.gmpartsdirect.com, all my numbers posted above are still correct.
