also when u check for spark, check for blue (or possibly white.)

if its any type of red or copper color spark, thats no good.

and although it wouldnt stop the engine from starting, you should always use 91+ octane. never use anything less.

Sam.. lol I dunno where you are going to check for the spark to see the color. All my sparks are barney purple.. j/k

I'll reiterate.. at the moment we know very little about the car except it doesn't run.

Check the fuel pressure
Check for any presence of spark

If you have both..Tech Ted has posted how to check to see if the injectors are firing.

Get those tests out of the way and we'll have much more to go on.

Ok a little bit of an update. I got the car running... the plugs were shot, electrodes were worn down and the gap was huge... but, it now skips/misses at ALL RPM'*. So yes it has fuel and spark... but, I need to check and make sure I have the right firing order... because the black plugs were giving me trouble, and it wasn't very light out.

OK another update... I found the problem with the last update... the inside connection on the #3 wire was bent, causing a bad connecting... fixed it, and it is not skipping at all RPM'* anymore....
BUT... it is now back to the origional problem.

Wires are new as are plugs. Origional problem still happening. Does anyone have an idea as to what it might be?

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

Be sure to go back and make a checklist of the things that have been listed here, all very good to start with, and I'd recommend those before anything else.

I would like to add that both my previous 92 SSEi as well as the SE I have now experienced these same issues and it turned out to be the ICM/coils on both accounts, so be sure you check those as well. Info on how to do so may be found in Techinfo, or you can just click here... http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...e=article&k=33
