I just got my transmission rebuilt not to long ago due to slipping and not shifting. It works fine except mornings around 7 am central and sometimes during the day. It only slips about one time. I brought it back to the transmission technician and he said they couldnt find anything wrong with it. Any suggestions?

Our Camaro did that as well, what we found was a bolt missing from the shift linkage; you might want to make sure your shift linkage cable is in the right position (how to find out, I know not) and make sure it is securely tightened.

not sure what kind of tranny it is but i had the mechanic look at it and he still couldnt find anything wrong with it.

I don't trust mechanics much, only use em when I have to. You should look at the tranny yourself, make sure all teh nuts and bolts are tight... you might wanna pick up a repair manual and check outr hte FAQ or Q&A sections; do some research, it may be a fairly common problem.

i have a pontiac bonnie 91 black and my transmission fluid is running out like water.I took it to get a tune up a transmission tune they said my pan was full.But its still leaking pretty bad. Other than that my ride is the tight bizness any suggestion on what i should do?

ASG told me they would be willing to build/rebuilt your transaxle type and they are very confident in there ability. So am I. I am also willing to look into new transaxles that are cheaper. Ill ask and see what is said about a deal on new transaxles.

Keep in mind that it is an inferior unit, and hydraulically controlled at that, so it could never be as strong. I am going to try and get Adam to sell the parts for the 4t60-e HD kit as parts so it’* cheaper. That way you can buy the kit then save to have your transaxle rebuilt with the parts. Ill see what happens.
