There'* a doodad in the steering column that flips the lock on the blinker lever to turn it off as you turn the wheel back. It'* a plastic piece that has broke in your case.

You're best bet is to try a JY or the Wanted section of anyone parting out a vehicle, and see if they're willing to tear into the steering column for this piece.

If it actually has a part number, and is sold seperately (which I doubt), someone with that info will chime in here.

Well, i took apart my turn signal a while back because the whole device came apart. My turn singal acutally was hanging by the wire. Anyways I dont remember how everything went in there (actually my brights dont work anymore) but anyways you have to take off your steering wheel disconnect the Airbag then you can get to the gadgets in there its a pain trying to put that stuff back in correctly IMO (I still dont have brights cause I havent had time to fix it.)

IIRC that is part of the clockspring/cancelling cam assembly.

Here, try this link:

That'* a step-by-step of getting into the steering column and the pieces in your steering column.

Your canceling cam will look something like #3:

As you read the above instructions, it looks harder than it really is. After you disable the SIR and take off the steering wheel, compress the spring, the canceling cam is right there.

Yeah, But you can do it with a buddy and two screwdrivers. You sit in the seat and press down on opposing sides, your buddy pops the clip out.
