When did GM start the feature with the turn signal with whenou leave it on and forget its on and the chime starts?

My 94 GP has it (Didn't know it for a long time until my son told me). The 98 Bonneville has it, but 2000 GP doesn't have it.

My aunt has a '99 Grand Prix GT also and she has it. Hers it actually a little bit loader than mine.

I didn't know that .. thanx for the timbit 1978... going to take one of them hippie pills and try it out in the driveway to see if it will chime on my 97 Bonnie SSEI .... yea I know.. simple things amuses stoner minds... ha ha ha

I can just picture all the people walking by my house wondering WTF is wrong with this guy having his blinker on for so long on the driveway.. I"ll tell them I"m putting a 20 hp increase Type R sticker on and this help sets it in... ha ha ha

Yeah, its for people like us that uses "illegal substances" in my case "dro" and we have the damn flasher on, after a while you here this bell thinking you left you door open and all the time its the turn signal reminder. I love it!

93 had it. Don't really need it with the HUD. Kinda obvious.

If you post this down in the 87-91 category, we'll get further. I'm betting if the 93 had it, the 92 did, too. Maybe some of those guys can jump in and take this further for you.
