You cannot pull ECC codes through the ALDL connector. Only the dealer can extract ECC codes from 94 and up.

Your QDM fault isn't related to climate control. Do a search on QDM 1 or QDM A and you'll find your list of possibilities.

Moving to 92-99

Forget the ECC for the time being. You have a moe serious problem.

26- Quad Driver A module monitors the low speed fan, Evap canister purge solonoid, the HIGH TEMP light, and TCC apply. Note that it does NOT monitor the high speed fan relay. Only the low speed is considered critical?

Quad B covers the shift solonoids and EGR valve.

What are your Rpm'* at 55 mph?

Ok, ruling out TCC apply then, your fault is most likely the low speed fan, Evap canister, or high temp.

Disconnect your battery for 30 minutes to clear the code, go drive for 30 minutes, come back and pull codes again.

my friend is bringing his scanner today and I will clear the code. By the way I do not have a check engine light on. I had that code pull by autozone. I wonder if it was one of those scanner that will give you a false reading. I read this on another post.

It won't set a code. The Actron scantool will show QDM1 as bad with the brake applied, but it won't set a code.
