I have the same problem. It'* more rough when the engine is cold too. It just jerks into the gears when it shifts. doesn't feel good at all. BTW, my 97 also has 'higher' miles @ 109,000.

Finally someone with a similar problem
Hello all I’m new here but have been looking for help on my 94 Bonn. For quite some time. My problem is close to what JasoNeon has but mine is more predictable.
My car when cold shifts fine (1,2,3,4 and lock up) but after a short time say 7-10 miles if you slow down to turn, or something makes it shift down, it will no longer shift back into OD. With that said if you stay on the highway it will remain in OD indefinitely.
Now you may need a little more background on this car. The car has 161000 on the body but only 47000 on the drive train, you see I got a Buick Lasaber that was in an accident so I transplanted both the engine and transmission into my Bonn. Now I never drove the Buick so I don’t now if it was not shifting before the transplant. I just changed the tranny fluid and put a new vacuum modulator on, same thing. Now when mkaake was talking about the solenoids, which pan was he talking about the bottom or the side? I really need to fix this soon so any help is greatly appreciated

I have EXACTLY the same problem. Currently at 130,000 miles, but I have done 48,000 miles like this and its still working fine. But you mention a TSB??? Is this a recall deal where I can get the dealer to pay for it???

Can you give an internet link for that TSB?

Thanks.
