Well, here goes....

I'm driving back to PA from New York city. Going about 65MPH , when suddenly my car downshifts into 3rd and the engine light comes on. I pulled over and check the fluid, it was low so I filled it up. But nothing happened.
I put the tranny into OD and it feels like it stays in 3rd , I downshift into 3rd and nothing happens. It feels like it stould in 3rd . When I'm in OD and I let the gas off , the RPM'* go down to about 1k and when I hit the gas, I goes all the way up to 3k before the trany catches.
Is this electrical or expensive?

I'm in 3rd and about to go to and there is no shift . The gear is on OD , the engone will let go of 3rd and just drop till about 1k RPM. When I hit the gas it wil shoot up to 3K rpm and if I keep it there, and downshift to D nothing happens , like it was already on 3rd.
If it is the TCC , how much and how hard?
