recently purchased a 93 bonneville ssei and when accellerating the transmission seams to go into gear really hard...looking for possible causes thanks

Have you tried checking the tranny fluid? hehe that is an easy fix to a complicated problem, and it'* usually the easy things that go wrong make sure your tranny and car are hot before checking the fluid...i found that out the hard way
