Default Traction Control

My traction control is shutting itself off every now and then.
It only does it when I first start the car in the morning. I start the car and the traction control off light stays lit on the dash and the light on the traction control switch is not lit and will not do anything if pushed. After a few miles it resets itself and works fine. No ABS light at all so the wheel sensors must be OK. I made sure the break fluid reservoir is full. Any idea what is wrong?

the car might be setting a code in the PCM, go to Advnace, or somewhere of the like and get the car scanned for codes and report back here
