yes, but that was implied...I'm concerned about the cost tho. its goin to be spendy. But I think the results will be good, I'll have my warning system back, a new timing chain and no more sputters

I assume that if I need it fixed and get it fixed by a shop (I don't trust my dad anymore, only for brakes), if I said I need a new timing chain they will know enough to replace the tensioner, cam magnet...whatever else goes along.

Okay, there goes the worrier in me again

You won't have to worry about the chain or cam magnet on your engine until you start to throw a code for cam positition sensor. Don't sweat the chain...I'm sure its fine, its a chain, its strong. Once i see mine after its pulled out I'll know the condition of it. I was told to not worry

Thanks! I'll calm down I promise

I actually think I'm going to get some sleep now, that should help. Been a long day of posting. My fingers are tired

Heh... When I was rebuilding my gauge cluster, I noticed that the sockets for the Traction Off and Antilock warning lights were both really brown from cooking, even though they're never on in my car except when starting the engine. Evidently the previous owner had been cruising around with non-functional ABS for, like, forever before he apparently got around to fixing it...

If you are at the shop while they are doing the work on your car, ask them to show you the old timming chain and the new timming chain side by side... And have a close look at the diffrence.... Then report back here

Yeah I'd like to know the difference. Take a pic if you can.
