Probably about 3/8" inside diameter, 1/2" outside. It'* pretty big. About the same size as the brake booster vac line.

problem solved!!!!! changed fluid and drove it for a day then changed it again sunday morning no more irritating power steering noise. bought a fluid transfer siphon... this thing is sweet..a hose on each side pump in the middle, pump it an fluid transfers from ps resevior to jug.. in no time.. went fluid changing crazy...
