Default NEED BUMPER HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Replacing the rear bumper on my 99 SE. Just the metal bumper that is behind the exterior cover. Is there a way to pull my old bumper out without taking of the cover?
Doing this right now so quick feedback would be apreaciated

I haven't done it myself, but took a quick peek at the FSM.

Says:
1. Remove bumper sill cover (Inside the trunk, at edge of trunk where the cargo net hooks are mounted)
2. Remove side liners from trunk (Inside the trunk on both sides. held in place using the big, black, plastic retainers
3. Remove nuts that hold bumper facia sides from quarter panels.
4. Remove screws from wheel housing liners from bumper side facias
5. Remove bolts from bumber absorbers to bumper support (metal bumper that is behind exterior cover. NOTE: number and placement of shims for realighnment.)

Hope this gets you moving again.

Jack..you can have the cover off in under 5 minutes...it'* quick and easy.

Crawl under and remove the two plastic dickfers holding cover to bumper on either of where the plate would be....but underneath.

Pull that nice two nuts on each side in the truck hold the sides on....and 3-4 phillips heads in each wheel well.

That'* litterall all that holds it on. Then you'll have open access to the support
