You may have to remove the strut tower brace, alternator brace brackets and the rear valve cover but I'm just guessing?
I have the heads off mine right now so it would be real easy for me. :P

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
If necessary, tag and disconnect the number 2, 4 and 6 spark plug wires from the ignition coil and move the coil out of the way.
For 1993–99 vehicles, remove the nuts and cross brace bar.
Detach the electrical connections from the blower motor.
Disconnect the cooling tube from the blower motor.
Unfasten the screws securing the blower motor to the blower module assembly.
Remove the blower motor and fan assembly from the module.
If necessary, unfasten the nut attaching the fan to the blower motor shaft, then pull the fan from the blower motor.

Are we trying to remove the blower on an L36 engine?
You will need to remove the Plugs wire / O2 wire bracket out of the way, removal of the Strut Towerr Bar should help...
Good Luck

James..if you move the stuff Don is suggesting you will have a ton more room. I'll look in FSM later but I doublt they are going to have you pull the engine to change a blower motor.
