Default need moter swap advice 94 bonny ssei/help

hi all i have a 94 ssei with a bad moter or heads salvage yard said 94 iss all by itself as far as a moter goes but did not know why could someone pleaseeeeeee tell me what year moters out of another bonny would workor why not if its just a sensor that could be swapped out or somthin simular i could handle that i think ive seen plenty of deals on se or sse cars that i could bye for the moter anybody?

far as i know a 94 has an l27 that was offerd in 92-93 and 94 bonnevilles

Sorry Series one (1) 3800 fwd gm v6 lol that of such will be in your 1994 bonneville oh sorry yours is an ssei its superchaged so its an l32? i beleive but either way any supercharged 92-94 bonne motor should work no prob even a non spercharged if you did a topswap

thanks for reply so 92 to 94 should work? if i bought a non supercharged moter could i not put my super charger on it? also then im asuming any 3800 from any gm car should work from 92 to 94 ? thanks in advace

Yes you can throw your sc on but you would have to also swap over you heads/rockers/lower intake/fuel rail/injectors/harmonic balancer/throttle body you wold also need all the proper Gaskets
Belt */C oil MAF sensor brackets and pulleys for the sc belt i may be forgetting something sorry if i am and your vaccum stuff of course


EDT oh and if they are i good shape you can swap your connecting rods but it is not a must

thanks again 4 replys well nuts was hoping not to have to swap heads thats whats wrong with mine now are the heads nesasary to do or why not leave them alone ? thanks

it may be cheaper to just find another super charged moter then or part this 1 out well thanks for the heads up
