Default Supercharger replacement guide

Hello, I was wondering if there was possibly a good guide to removing and installing a supercharger. I can’t find much on YouTube and I searched a little through this forum a little bit

TIA

It'* not really all that difficult.

Disconnect drive belt.
Disconnect intake hose
Disconnect harness
Disconnect spark plug cables
Disconnect and remove fuel rail
Remove supercharger.

Why are you replacing it?

Its real rattly, im not sure what specifically whats wrong atm but we did replace one part, still rattles real bad. I'll just have to ask the more mechanically inclined person and let you know. Seems pretty easy but just didn't want to miss anything. More of a visual learner as i dont know all the names of parts and what not, but listed above all seem pretty basic.

Ok, what part was replaced?
To verify if it is the snout coupler, disconnect the SC belt and grab the SC pulley and rotate it back and forth, if you feel internal gear play, you need a new coupler.
Its easier to change that out than replacing the SC. Drop the drive belt, use a syringe with a long tube attached, suck out the old oil out of the snout, careful, it stinks real bad. Remove the snout bolts, then it should just drop right off. Use brake clean to hose out the gear area, scrape off the old sealant, replace the coupler, apply new sealant, reinstall, fill back up with Mobil Synthetic 5w-30 engine oil.

I meant to post this it was just sitting unsent: So my uncle changed the coupler out, got a little quieter. But he believes its the bearings. Bearings are only 30$ compared to the 600$ BAP. Do you happen to know how easy or tools required to swap them out? Or is it just best to replace the whole thing with the BAP.

Changing the rear bearings is a different story. They are pressed in.

Dan has a write up on changing the bearings out. Take a looky and see what is all involved...
