My SC started rattling very bad .
It'* not coupler. I changed nosedrive back in March and evrything is fine with coupler.
The sound comes from rotors and every day it gets louder.
The question is can something from supercharger damage engine if I keep driving with it for a while?
Anybody with SC for sale contact me at temphere62@yahoo.com because PM quotas here is way too low.
It'* 1995 SSEi so I need M62 I guess.
Thanks in advance .

I can't edit my post anymore so here is a little addition.
It appears as PM quote is lifted to 50 PM'* so anyone with supercharger can PM me instead of e mail. It'* up to you.
Thank you.

Mine has recently started doing the same thing. It seems to be coming from the between the nose drive and the SC housing. It has only been been rattling for about a week. My car has 72K on it.

It'* nosedrive again in my case.
Yesterday it started leak oil and rattling even worse so I just removed belt from supercharger, drived few miles from work to home without water pump running and park it untill my spare SC arrives. Didn't overheat engine as all lights on intersections were green this time
. In your case it seems too early after 72K miles.
But you never know what is next. You better fix it now when is just started than wait untill everything brakes down as I had back in March. Now the same things again after few months.
