Default Stupid Wheelwell covers

Can you take them off and leave them off? or will it damage engine components? 'cause it'* starting to tick me off; I keep having to put it back on every 100 miles or so. Also, it takes just one more time for it to rub against the driveshaft just the WRONG way so that it damages it. Stupid, small question, I know, but I just wanted to make sure it'* all good...

Peter, I would keep those wheelhouse panels in place. They serve a specific purpose. Are all the approriate push pin retainers & fasteners secured in place?

then that'* what I've gotta do, some of them are there, some of them aren't. Only problem is, I don't want to drive to Advance to get them with that thing hanging down... I guess I can prop it up or something. Thanks guys!

GRINDING?

You didn't mention grinding. Neither of those covers being rawhide and plastic should GRIND!

Get that puppy tied up and see if the sound is still there. I'm thinking it may be.

Nope, it'* gone, just had to pin up some of it with those plastic pins. Everything works fine now, and I'm partially happy. Why am I only partially happy? Because I found some cracking on my Harmonic Balancer. How bad is bad when it comes to that (I know I should start my own thread, but I don't think that it'* a problem just YET)?

I'd be locating and buying one. They can go quick when they finally check out.
