Man I hear yah. I have done my struts twice now and each time they are near impossible to get out without a torch, a half inch impact socket and a half inch johnson barto rock it back and forth to free it up a bit. I would then give the threaded end a good rap with the hammer and then use the impact spin the thing out. Even with all that, it still takes me a good half hour each side. If you can get them out by another method, power to you but good luck,

When you do put them back in (with new bolts probably) plaster the bolt good with never seize.

I finally got them off :P . it took 1 bottle of liquid wrench a 18" long 1/2" pivot bar and all my weight. now i can continue hope i finish before the ran comes... :(

Har! Actually I'm going to hold off until the weather improves, maybe in a month or so after I get caught up on all the lawn work outside. At that point I'll let you know how it goes...
