Does one grease the strut bearing when installing? If so what type of grease? The FSM does not address this.

I never have.

SSebonne4ever lubes his with any type of regular or spray grease. Maybe a white lithium. He does them from the top with the dust cover removed.

I believe you don't have to lube them when you buy them NEW and install them. If you have old ones that make noises while turning the steering wheel, then you can lube them by taking the cover off the strut tower as Bill mentioned.
