Default Strange clicking noise need ideas

Well today I was coming home from the store and on a straight road i stomped it down and as soon as i hit 60mph i started to hear a weird clicking noise...very similar to a kids bicycle with a card strapped to it so it makes a noise from the card hitting spokes. I slowed down and soon as i got below 60mph it stopped....I drove around going fast and then slow...it starts clicking right at 60mph then as i go faster the clicking slows down untill it only clicks once per second...then drop below 60 and it stops....I tried looking for something that could maybe be rattling and making that noise....ive stripped off most of the plastic guards around the cv axels thinking maybe something was rubbing....but its still making the noise....its very hard to pinpoint where its coming from at 60mph running a cutoff on the exhaust but it sounds like front passenger side inside the fender well. any ideas on what the problem might be? this has me stumped. Thanks!

Sounds liek something is flopping around loose. Check the front nose area, and splash guards in the wheel wells.

HI

I had something similiar and I found a large screw in my tire and I would accelerate and hear the screw head hitting the pavement. I am not sure if this is way off what your having but, just a possibility.
