loud clicking noise when engine started
sounds to me like;
lifters
connecting rods
something in valvetrain
i checked the oil, it'* at the "correct" level on the dipstick
i shut the engine off, and now restarted it, and it runs regularly
my parents aren't letting me touch the car because they think i'm beating it
anyone know what it could've been ?
maybe poor oil circulation?

clicking could be alot of things
Rule out the engine itself here for a second..
Check your harmonic balancer, in the crank pulley, the rubber, is it all dry rotted and cracked?
your Accessory tensioner, is it still intact?
what does it do when you rev it up?
No coolant in the oil? Vica versa
