Steering Wheel vibration
There'* the dogbone, the torque axis, the front tranny mount that I bet you have found, The other is the rear tranny mount. It'* mounted right below where the steering shaft hits the rack. I'd think it'd be very hard for that one to fail.

This weekend if the weather holds up, im gonna do my stabilizer bushings. I will inspect every mount and bolt under the front end. Hopefully the harder busings don't worsten the vibration.
I was wonding about the rack mounts myself. I should have mentioned this earlier in the thead, but when in a not moving situation (ie: parking space, 3 point turn) and I have to turn lock to lock fast, I get a mild clunk both audiably and and in the wheel. I also had my former roommate turn the wheel lock to lock while I listen for the clunk and look for unwanted movement in the rack/steering/suspension. We could not locate where it was comming from. Inner and outter tie rods are OK, so are the ball joints. Possible I have a few bad bushings, like one went bad and then caused stress on other parts causing them to fail?
It sucks not having a garage anymore. I have amazing mechanical ability but not haveing a garage and the fact that it is dark now when I go into and leave work gives me no opportunity to maintain/repair my car like I would like.

Ok, now I have changed the links I have some news to report. It seems that 85% of the vibration is gone. I get some road feedback but not like I used to. While I had the car on the ramps I looked at all the busings and mounts that have to do with ANYTHING with the front end and they all looked good. Although, I might have the control arm bushings changed when I have the struts done.
