Steering problem

Default Steering problem

At idel around 1000 rpm when stopped or moving, when i turn my wheel it vibrates, rpms try to drop and its a fairly rough turn. im not low on power steering but could this be a power steering pump?

It could be the pump err a bad belt.. maybe bad fluid... Check it out... :?

Matt. Had a similar problem on my 96 about 3 yrs ago. Steering was very stiff at idle, and if you brought up the RPM'* just a bit it felt normal. Steering pump made a whining sound. Changing it fixed the problem. I just put on a rebuild from Canadian Tire and it'* been fine. Cheap too only around $65.00.

man do i love canadian tire...anyways how do i change the pump..i dont know if there is a diffrence from years 93-96...nor have i had a good look to see exactly were the pump is, i know were the resivor is tho LOL
