I went to GMPartsdirect.com, and it does have a specific battery cable for the SSEI model. so I thought the guy was telling me the truth. When I go there tomorrow to get the car I will ask them about it.

I realize it sounds a bit nutsy, but I hold them to the fire, if the car isn't right for a yr /12,000 miles they gotta tow it, fix it, and make it right. ONLY reason why I bring it back there.....that has saved my butt a few times in the ca$h department when things went wrong again after they fixed something !
