Sound when I drive over bumps and uneven road...
Allow me to explain to you the story about this issue.
So I decided to replace the front struts, and I did. But when driving it for a drive I hear noises like something is loose, only when I drove over a bump or a small hole. I also replaced the inner cv joint boot, cause in both sides of the axle the inner boots leaked that green grease, so I tried to do two birds at the same time, I removed the axle from the hub and replaced it. When I removed the lower Ball joint I mess it up, cause I used a fork tool and damage the seal. So I thougth that was giving me that sound. After taken it for an alignment they said is fine. I still hear that noise. So I asked around and maybe you know,,, but when I rose the car and used a bar against the tire and the ground to hear any loseness but nothing, I then grab the axle and lift motino back and forth and that is it. Then I hear that my axle is not all the way in into the trans. Wouldn't be spilling the trans fluid if it did, or could it be that the amount of the grease was not enough as it had in the first place from the replacement. I also over heard that the axle nut has a rivet lock in the axle screw at the en and it has to lock in.

By visually looking and feeling, is the axle fully installed into the transmission? (Don't look for leaking fluid..feel and see it.)
The axle nut is usually held from moving by a cotter pin. This pin does not lock anything in, it merely keeps the nut from loosening.
Were the balljoint nuts and axle nut torqued to spec?
Did you tighten the strut bolts on top and bottom to spec?

I pushed the car down as hardest I could and had a friend that will touch the top front left strut nut and we noticed that it was loose. I went to look for an off -set socket that will fit but the auto parts didn't have it... I'm still looking. I could use a vice grip the strut rod and tide the sucker. I was afraid to damage the strut boot by griping that vice....
Tomorrow I'll check if that did it.
