Default someting weird blowing out from the pass side floorboard

Is there a filter or a spongy material located around the passenger footwell? Perhaps something that could fall apart into tiny pieces after years and years? It'* either that or I have a bug nest of some sort buried up under the HVAC area and now it'* falling apart ...nasty

There is if my failing memory serves me properly a foam like material on the evap core. Maybe some around the heater core as well.

How much material are you seeing?

It'* the color of a sponge, tons of very small pieces, just enough to maybe fill a thimble.

Enough to fill a thimble..I wouldn't worry just yet. There'* also some foam padding on the kick panels.

It'* more annoying than aything else. Imagine driving on the highway windows down when all of the sudden a cloud of crap flies up from the pass floor area like a swarm of bees. I begin to wonder if it'* a hornet nest or cocoon as it whisps around my head like a tornado.

Ok..sound like more than a thimble then. I thought you were finding this small amount of material on the floor.

If it'* only coming from the passenger side...then yes..explore further and keep that bug spray nearby.
