If they're an inch or more shorter, you got FE2 (SSEi) springs, not SE (FE1).

o.k so i went for m test drive and yes :( the wheel well still hits my tire on that one side only.. but now i also noticed that the rear drivers side tire sticks out more then the rear passenger side tire..

im starting to lean towards a covered up accident that was not reported..

i mean what else could it be beside the springs and struts....? an ideas.. i could desperatly use some serious help before i go to a body shop and have the wheel well pulled out and the lip cut off... which is m yonly option if i cant find the issue..

Did you ever get the car to a suspension / alignment shop? That needs to be done anyways now with the new struts and springs, so take it to a shop with the STOCK rims and tires and have them check it all out.

Don't even tell them you are putting 20'* on or they will just say that is the whole problem and not even look for anything else.

so if i put the stocker'* back on to go to the alignment shop to get an alignment what do i tell them my problem is that im having so that they will take the time to look for the reason of m problem..?

i cant tell them the wheel well lip is cutting m y stock tire because there is all the clearance in the world with the stockers on...

what would i tell them to look for.. any idea'*.. i getting very upset...

i also ,meeasured from the inside the wheel wells where the struts are to the outside of the wheel well lip.

the rear passenger side i got a measurment of 12'' even..

the rear passenger side i got a measurment of 11 1/2 inches..

im starting to guess that the car was in a accident and the rear drivers side quarter panel was fixed perfectly or replaced and thus the reason for the drivers sider rear wheel well sticking inwards b a 1/2 inch more then the passenger side...

First thing... you need to stop putting "c last post" in your title.... People have no idea where to go when the update was ten posts ago Just say " see page 3"

You can tell the shop that you replaced the struts and springs because the car was sagging on that side, then tell them that you are still having the sagging problem. Whether or not they find anything you still need to get an alignment after new struts, and they might just be able to find something that you can't see. Have you measured from the ground up to the wheel well? If so, and if it was not the same *on level ground* tell them that as well. You definitely don't want to go there with the 20'* on or even tell them about any problem with the larger rims and tires. They will just tell you that that is the whole problem and leave it at that.

Do you by chance have a shop in your area that sells and installs oversized rims on cars? If so, they might be able to help you out as well.

In your locked post in Detailing and Appearance you mention cutting off the fender lip.

Do NOT do this. That lip is structural. Not only does it hold (via spot-welds) the inner and outer fender/quarter panels together, but it provides structural integrity to the quarterpanel to hold it'* shape.

Dood. Don't hack your car. Get wheels that actually fit.

Try putting a square up against the tire. What'* sticking out farther, top or bottom of the tire? Reasonable flat ground required.
