Finally replaced my MAF sensor; had to find a job and get the paycheck and such. So it sat for about a month and 4 days. Replaced, started it today..and I'm getting smoke from the....upper manifold maybe? Where the oil cap is, the thing it attaches to..but not the actual oil itself.

Just burning crud from 4 weeks of sitting still? Or a problem I need to look into?

I would chnage the oil after sitting that long. See if that helps any.

Planning an oil change next weekend actually.

2)The smoke started out white and a good amount(not a LOT, but enough to see white), and is now a lot less and clear and thinner.

Kind of sounds like you had soem condensation build up while it sat.

So it'll just burn it off and be fine? Or is there a procedure I should do before making her my daily driver again?

I would just keep a close eye on it and change the oil and filter ASAP

If your valve cover is smoking a bit, meaning just below the cap...it'* likely a bad valve cover gasket.

It definitely has an oil smell to it now.

Is the smoke inside or outside the valve cover?

Outside, from just under the manifold, under the valve cover. Taking the valve cover off, there'* no smoke inside.
