Smoking!
Someone told me that as long as I checked my oil on a regular basis(daily, every other day, etc.), this would just be an annoyance. Somehow, I don't believe that, and I think this could turn into a major issue. Correct?
What'* happening is, the oil is seeping past the valve cover gasket and getting onto the exhaust manifolds. When they get hot, it burns off the oil which equals some smoke. Many engines will do this when the gasket leaks.
As far as it being a major issue? No. Unless it is leaking so much oil that you have to dump oil in everyday. If it smokes a little at first start up and goes away for the rest of the day, then you will be fine. Get the gasket replaced soon.

This is what'* happening, thus far. Thanks, glad to know I don't need to rush out tomorrow, but I can wait a week or so.
