Default Sluggish starts

Hey I am checking to see if anyone out there can help me. I have a 98 Bonneville thats giving me headachs lately.Okay sometimes when I stop and go to take off I give it a little gas as normal easy take off,and it is like Im not giving the car gas.Eventually it will pick up.It seems like there is a dead spot in the throttle because if you give it more it will go. You can feel it surge some too.At first I thought was that the transmission slipping? But the tach doesnt move. Please help, thanks

Moved to 92-99.

Please put "98 SE" in your signature so we can help you better by knowing what you drive.

No check engine light? At this point, I'd say plugs and wires 95%.

If it were fuel pressure, it would have problems at the top end, not off the bottom. I'd also suggest cleaning your TB and MAF when you do the plugs and wires. How old are your air filter, PCV, and fuel filter? What about the O2?
