Since they're so close together, they should be cleaned together, hence if he hasn't cleaned the IAC, he prolly hasn't cleaned the TB.

I'm curious...how do you guys recommend cleaning the throttle body. Gumout spray?

I personally removed mine from the car, removed the sensors and used Carb Cleaner.

There is a rev limiter that does not allow you to rev the motor above 4000rpm while in neutral. This could be the "sluggishness" you speak of. Get on the open road, put your foot down, and will it rev all the way up?
