JimmyFloyd, thanks for finding out for me.... Is it out of a SC car? let me know what ya find, and what ARE the differences? are they internal with gearing or are they something swapable like sensors/electronics? If so, I am hosed and may have a 92 SC bonneville for sale for cheap.... let me know what all you find out... btw, it also has the traction control which apparently has something to do with the tranny too.... grrrrr.

Jay...all SSEi'* (I think) had traction control. So you should be ok there. The tranny JimmyF is talking about is out of a Park Ave Ultra or aka..a supercharged model with the same tranny as the bonne.

Traction control has nothing to do with the trans on the Series 1 Bonnevilles. It'* strictly applied braking.

Excuse my ignorance...

But I've read on this board more than once that the 92 and 93 trannies are interchangable. Is that only true when mated to an L27?
