Default Scanned Codes

Got my Actron 9150 scanner finally. Scanned and got codes P0401
and OBD1 Delta RPM? Changed engine oil and filter. Got APN UIM Kit
and LIM GM Aluminum Gaskets/PTFE sealant. Do I need to run engine
with new oil/filter now or wait till after gaskets replacement?
Was paranoid leaving old contaminated oil in.

Congratulations on getting a scanner! It'* handy, no?

As to the oil question, it is recommended that you change the oil and filter now, with an inexpensive oil and filter. Then, in about a 100-500 miles change it again and put in whatever good stuff you normally use.
