Workin on the GTP... so its not a bonnie but the same motor so it applies lol
1 of 2 problems with the car from the start was the coupler on the SC... looked at the torque specs on the bolts for the snout but couldnt determine which one i need to go with
options are
Supercharger Ft/Lbs
92-93 (all fasteners)..................19
94-95 studs............................88 (In/Lbs)
94-95 bolts............................19
94-95 boost press. man. vac block......62 (In/Lbs)
96-99 bolts............................17
96-99 MAP sensor bolts.................22
96-99 TB to SC nuts....................89 (In/Lbs)
96-99 Fuel rail retainer nuts/bolts....89 (In/Lbs)
96-99 Fuel rail retainer studs.........18
Alternator brace bolts.................22
EGR wiring harness sheild nuts/bolts...89 (In/Lbs)
Which are the one for the snout and what would the specs be in ft/lbs ... not so up to date on torque wrench lol
99 GTP with the L67
thanks

run with anything from 15 to 20lbs on the snout bolts.
With the SC on the motor and going at it with a couple different types of sockets and extensions I will frequently give them a good feel torque instead of try to be precise. And with the amount of room you have on the GP, I could see you doing the same.

lol k... i just have this nervous click about it being too tight or too loose so i like to know the specs so i can gauge what they SHOULD be... dont want to snap a bolt, or crack the aluminum, or least of all have them loose. Rarely ever on any of the three, but it has happened before :P (gotten good over the years tho, but the SC i want done right)
thanks Bill
