Default RPM and shifting

Hi all.

I need some help here. The problem is with the high rmp and shifting.
The problem, is some of the time here latley, while starting from a stop. The rpms will race up anf car wont shift, unless I back off the accelerator, then it will shift. A few times it will shift right.
If on the interstate, it will do ok, until it gets to over drive. It doesnt shift into OD untill Im at speed for a few seconds(between 15 and 30 seconds.) And then a few other times it wont go into OD and the Rpms stay above 2k. If the rpms get to like 3500 the whole motor and car viberate really bad. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Check you TPS (throttle Position Sensor)

AND you Trans fluid level and color. Check hot with engine running. Looking for a nice red color

Trans fluid condition is very important here. If I had to make an instant diagnosis, I'd say you'll be without a trans very soon.

Ive checked the fluid, its dark, but not burnt. I doubt its been change at all.
Its strong as far as the above problem. No other problems. Just seems alittle worse since I had the dealership replace the UIM/LIM IN Sept.

Filiter / Gasket kit and ~ 7 qts. of fluid.

You are doing the pan only; this will replace ~2/3 of the fluid in the system
