Your compressor may be starting to bind up.

I posted a topic a little while back regarding the same thing, but different. see http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...957&highlight= My rpm flux/loss of power only happens uphill, on any incline. sometimes it does fluxuate 500 rpm, and as you can imagine the whole jerks. very annoying. there'* not much left for me to tune up. But i did throw an egr related code recently.

Haved you cleaned / replaced your EGR valve yet? Did it have any effect on the problem? I tried spinning the A/C compressor this morning before work. Seems to be fine. I'm not ruling it out, but if its the EGR valve causing this, thats gotta be the damnedest thing I've seen yet. I repalced the Ignition Control Module underneath the coil pack a couple months ago, no help. Maybe I should replace the coil packs next?!?

CDecker, My 95 does the same thing at 130,000. I don't know why. It also doesn't want to climb hills in TCC lockup without stuttering a little.
